Cranberry Achar (Cranberry Pickle)



Take three cups of halved cranberries, 10-15 chopped red chillies, ginger powder to taste, 1/3 cup vinegar, 1.5 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon salt. mix everything together and put on heat. stir occassionally. the sugar will release water. take off from heat when syrup becomes thick. you can use chopped ginger also- i used powder since i didn't have any at home.
