Chicken Patties (Chicken in Puff Pastry)

Mince chicken breasts in a food processor. I used two pieces. Heat oil and fry the minced meat. Add ginger powder and black pepper. Add sliced onions, cilantro and green chilies. Add dash of cinnamon powder (if you like the flavor). Add salt. Fry till chicken is cooked. Add about 1/4 cup of water and sprinkle with about 2/3 tablespoons of flour to make the mixture stick together. Turn off heat and let cool.

Buy Puff Pastry Sheets. I use the Pepperidge Farm one. The pepperidge farm sheets make nine patties. Let thaw and then cut into squares. Take each square, put chicken filling and cover with another. Press sides to seal.

Heat oven to 400F.... See More

Grease a baking tray with oil. Put the patties on the tray. Beat one egg in a bowl. Apply the beaten egg on the patties with a brush. Bake for 25-30mins.

  3. Thanks for the reply :) I'm going to try the filling in the Pepperidge Farm pastry shells and not the sheets, and see how it turns out :)
